I have always been very mechanically inclined, and tech savvy. As a child I used to take doorknobs off as fast as my family could put them back on. I was so young that I don’t even remember doing it. I always enjoyed taking things apart, just so I could figure out how to put them back together. I do recall taking televisions apart and getting in lots of trouble! I was very hands-on and created some wild things with my Legos! My grandfather saw my talent and told me that I should become an engineer when I grew up. Today I am kind of a do it all, a tom boy, a perfectionist, and someone who doesn’t care to get my hands dirty.
My dream growing up was to build, or do blueprinting for large structures, such as bridges and buildings. I graduated from high school with high honors and received a college scholarship. After college, I stayed in the workforce for 13 years.
In 2005 I had a child, who was very premature. Daycare was not an option, so I decided to work for myself. The demand for computer work was very high, so I started Danielle’s PC Repairs. I started from the bottom, word of mouth, handing out flyers, stuffing mailboxes, direct mail, etc. Things were slow in the beginning, but my business picked up more and more every year. I now provide technical support for several residential and business clients. This decision has worked out beautifully for me, and I am very thankful for all of my clients!
